We know many of our clients have a very busy lifestyle and would prefer to brighten their smile at times better suited to their hectic schedule.

At home whitening is the solution. Using custom-made whitening trays, which look similar to a sport mouthguard but are much finer, are moulded to the contour of your teeth and gums for maximum effectiveness so you can dramatically change the appearance of your smile in as little as 2 weeks.

You will be given instructions on the correct use of your trays, how much gel to use and how long to wear them by your Bright Star dentist. It is important that your follow these instructions precisely.
 
Bright Star Dental Centre use and provide teeth whitening treatments that have undergone extensive testing to ensure they are completely safe for your teeth and gums. The only effect some people may experience is slight sensitivity to hot and cold. This will often subside several hours after completing treatment.

If you experience sensitivity while using your at home treatment you should stop application for a few days. If symptoms continue, please contact your Bright Star Dental Centre dentist for advice.

The longevity of your whitening treatment will depend on your at home oral hygiene routine and attending regular professional cleaning appointments with the Bright Star Dental Centre hygienists. While many clients enjoy their new white smile for 2 years or more before they need to rejuvenate their smile with another whitening treatment, smoking, coffee, tea, red wine and strongly dyed foods can cause tooth discoloration within a shorter timeframe.
