A captivating and flawless smile can be achieved through the application of porcelain veneers. Veneers are sculpted from fine pieces of porcelain and utilised to correct various imperfections such as chipped teeth, cover permanent stains, straighten crooked teeth or close spaces between teeth in as few as two appointments.

Meticulous preparation by our dental team prior to placing your veneers ensures a perfect and long-lasting result. Once your veneers are bonded to your teeth they are very strong and durable. Each tooth receiving a veneer is lightly buffed to remove a minor amount of its outer layer so when placed, your veneered tooth appears the same size as any adjacent natural teeth.

A cast mould of your teeth is taken, which is then used as a template by a skilled technician at a dental laboratory who will craft your veneers. This can take up to two weeks.

At your following appointment, if temporary veneers were placed they are removed and your teeth are cleaned with a specially formulated mild acidic solution. This is no stronger than a citric acid such as lemon juice and will make your tooth’s surface slightly rough. This will ensure that when your veneers are secured with a special bonding agent, the strongest possible bond is achieved.
